Bars changing prices with no warning - legal?

Good point about the type of shot, however the card did have a picture of a shot glass on it, so I stupidly presumed that it would be the type of shot that comes in its own shot glass .
Plus there were some other customers being given their shots whilst I was waiting to be served, and they were "apple sourz" shots.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No: 86 :j0 -

This information would be clearly displayed in the tariff signs but noone ever read them as the bar was usually too packed to get close to them, entirely legal but extremely annoying for customers I would imagine, I believe most bars have a similar system.
Couldn't see a tariff sign and even the supervisor couldn't show me where it said it - all menus had £2.95 on, but as we left they brought in the chalkboard from outside!
Couldn't refuse the drinks as we had already started drinking them! Reported to trading standards who said it was a criminal act :T ha
But will be avoiding the place in future.0 -

Theres usually one on the wall at either side of the bar, ours were A4 and obviously fairly small type to fit all the info on. That said they shouldnt have had the menu's out if the prices on them were incorrect! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
