BT new account deposit -refunded how?

Anyone know for sure how a deposit (£50 on this occasion by CC) is paid back to a new account holder with BT?

Refunded to card in 6 months' time or to the actual BT account?

Thanks.

    Probably set against the account.

    Hi Jemma-T

This gets refunded back to the original debit card that the payment was taken from.

Hi, thanks for the replies people.

It was a credit card not debit.

Just wondering because those expire fairly quickly and people may use other people's cards (with their permission of course).

I would of thought into the account holder's actual phone account would be best.

Hi Jemma-T, If the card has expired the £50 will be credited back to via a cheque.. hope this clears up the confusion! :) Natasha BT Support
