Envirograf self closing hinge, any one used them?

Hi I have been looking at the Envirogf self closing hinges, as they say that they do away with the need for an over head door closer. http://www.envirograf.com/acrobat/071.pdf

Has anyone used them or seen them in action? I want to replace current hinges and put fire rated hinges that will control the door speed shutting so that it doesn't slam, are these the answer?

Thanks

I'd just use a concealed door closer like this (few others at screwfix so do a search on "concealed door closer"..that was the cheapest) with a chain that pulls the door closed (had them in our old flat though we propped the doors open!!)
