Reclaiming reserve usage fees-misled by branch (collections said so)

Hi
I have an ongoing saga with Barclays as in my other thread, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1832883 and i have printed the letter asking for a statement of charges.
The collections man who called me told me that the branch staff should have removed my reserve the first time i asked, and that i should reclaim all my bank charges since at least April on the grounds of being 'deliberately misled' by branch staff who knowing i was in financial hardship still refused to help, and actually lied to me about removing the reserve. Even if they could not remove it, they failed to tell me that telephone banking could, and now i've realised that if i had cancelled all my direct debits months ago i could have saved £500 in charges
I think i will need to edit the reclaiming letter to include being 'deliberately misled' .
Any ideas on how to re-word that paragraph?
Thanks in advance for any answers

That is what is called "passing the buck". BarclaysManager on MSE has already stated that the branch have no power to remove the personal reserve in the branch IF you are within the reserve so whilst collections might say you were misled, I suspect the branch have no authority to do so.
I think the use of the words "Bank Error" might be more suitable for the £22.00 fees since April.0 -
But... when i was in credit they were very reluctant to remove it and advised me not to, told me the charges would be more without it!
Anyway, i'm not sure where in the template to insert this or exactly what to say, any suggestions there?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Put something in writing to the bank and explain about that and ask the the bank refund the £22.00 charges since April. Do that first and then move on to the unlawful charges.But... when i was in credit they were very reluctant to remove it and advised me not to, told me the charges would be more without it!
