BT have introduced a 12 month plan on a non renewable contract, charging the same price as one on a rolling contract.
"Unlimited Anytime Plan – 12 Month non renewable contract
Available to eligible new and existing residential customers signing up to the Unlimited Anytime Plan with a 12 month minimum term.
The price is £4.95 per month plus line rental, which has a monthly cost of £11.25. The total price you pay is £16.20 per month. All of these prices apply if you pay by Direct Debit or monthly payment plan and elect for paper-free billing. Otherwise add £1.50 per month for payment processing fee levied by BT Payment Services Limited, a BT Group company, plus £1.25 per month without paper-free billing discount. Standard rates apply to calls to mobiles. Excludes customers currently benefiting from some BT special offers or deals. Other Exclusions and conditions apply."

From the 28/8/2009 it appears that you must sign up to some sort of contract to get anytime calls, as the old standard plan where you paid a £1 a month extra but had no contract ceases.
"Unlimited Anytime Plan – standard plan
The Unlimited Plan is available up until 27th August 2009 to eligible residential customers with no minimum term. Please note, a minimum term of 12 months applies to line rental for new customers and those switching their phone line from another provider, signing up to this calling plan.
The price is £5.95 per month plus line rental, which has a monthly cost of £11.25. The total price you pay is £17.20 per month. "

When it says 'non-renewable', I assume that means non-auto-renewing and in fact voluntarily renewable?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

BT are real jokers........if the service was good enough, they wouldn't need to tie people into 12 month contracts.0 -

BT have never included calls to mobiles in their 24/7 inclusive plan, and come to think of it i dont know of a company that does.0 -
Any company that did would end up with annual accounts as disastrous as BTs, lol. (PO Phones give you weekend calls to mobiles but clearly make it up by charging the earth for daytime calls and giving you no option to have them included in a calling plan)Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0
