Pooky :grouphug: If you find a job like that let me know! :rotfl: What do you fancy doing?

I've no idea what I want to do. When I left school I worked as a bit of an office dogs body for a few years, then went on to office manager/payroll and basic accounts for a music comapny/builders/pharmacy (was a family run group of buisnesses - very varid work), then onto department manager in a department store until I left to have DD1.....I ran my own childminding business for 3 years too but feel really out of touch with modern offices. Don't want to go back to shop work, don't want to work with kids....don't want to work at all really but I suppose I should show willing.

The pain of it is that I'd be more than willing to do some courses to get me back into the swing of things but as I don't get any benefits I don't qualify for any help towards the cost and can't really afford to pay out for courses until I'm working...catch 22.

I'd happily get paid to eat jaffa cakes and drink tea...surely that's a good career?

Maz - how'd the "lunch" go?

  • I've rung the CCCS. They say to ignore the letters unless I get any CCJ papers through and to phone them for another appointment when I get JSA decision.
    It's all very scarey.

Chat was good, funny and flirty...

    it went well....

very brief kiss in the car park so yeah, it went very well...... :D

Ooooh Mazster, that sounds promising ;):D :j

Pooky, would you like to get back into office work then if you could update your skills a bit? (obviously in the absence of a job as a jaffa cake tester ;)) What sort of courses would you want/ need to do, computer stuff?
