I was just listing some odd items and wondered if listing similar items encourages more sales, a higher price or just looks more professional
i.e. would you get a better price for items if they were all similar i.e. all clothing items, all toys etc, or does not matter as you only look at the item you've clicked on and don't bother viewing the other items a seller has??

It's beneficial if you offer a combined postage discount (which you should). I always try to list similar items finishing within three days of each other at most so that I can combine the invoices for buyers who purchase multiple items. It does encourage sales quite a bit. Do it, even if it's only 75p or a £1 off each additional item, make sure you set it up so that ebay shows there's an automatic discount for multiple purchases.0
