I assume by dongle, you are refering to a dongle that would connect you to the internet without the need for an internet connection.

If so, then yes it would work.

As for it being compatible with your laptop, i would assume so, however i don't know what laptop you have so i can't really comment. It would be mostly down to what OS you have as im not too sure if they would work with linux or not.

I'll refer you to this thread.

Couple that with a free Yoigo Internet To Go SIM and you are off.

Quite a lot of Spanish people ( including shop staff ) actually speak Spanish, unless you hasn't realised.

A dongle is a strictly speaking a physical software authentication key that often looks like USB pen drive.

The use of "dongle" for bluetooth and wifi adaptors seems to be all too common, probably because it's catchy enough for advertising purposes, a USB storage/pen drive is not a dongle.

You rude person, most people in Spain speak English and most electrical purchases have instructions written in several languages.

I'm not sure most people in Spain speak English, perhaps in Benidorm :D

What are you going on about? .... rude????

I wasn't being rude, I was being accurate, in the vast majority of Spain, most people do not speak English, they may do in the tourist area's where you visit, they certainly do not where I go in Spain, nor would I expect them to.

Also, whilst it is true that many products come with instructions in many languages, it is very often the case that English is not one of them.
