Morning darling
All I can I can say is massive hug to you at the moment.
Maybe, you could say to OH, maybe you are right, maybe Im not managing this properly, could we sit down and you give me the benefit of your opinion/ advice. Sit down with the all-new SOA and go, right OK then, what do you think now can go?
My OH had a similar thing few weeks back when my OD was bounced etc, and hes like you spend all this time on MSE and we are still in this situation! Is there any point! I was like, of course, but it does take a few months to get into the swing of things & things get more comfortable. He understands. and knows im right as usual!!
Is it an option to channel all your Ebay money for example straight to your CCs so its not taking more than you guys can hadle out of the other account?
More hugs from me, Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hi :grouphug: I hope things look better this morning, I really feel for you having been there myself. Its good to get things off your chest and you know you can always count on the good folk here to be friendly ears to listen to you.
All the best

Hi I hope you had a good nights sleep and that things look better this morning. Sorry you are having problems and feeling depressed. It will get bettter though - hang on in there. Lynz made a good suggestion about showing your OH what you have done and asking him if he can make any suggestions. In other words - showing him that you were right all along and just stop arguing about it
All the best Tes and good luck

Maybe your OH could have a word with his boss about his pay day. A similar thing used to happen to my mum in her old job. Every month she'd have to ask for her wage and it was always given to her on different days, weeks etc. It isn't on! I rang ACAS for her and found out that legally you are entitled to a specific pay day- this will help you budget and plan for direct debits etc. I know he might feel awkward but it's better than incurring loads of charges and crappy letters/sleepless nights.
I hope you feel better soon!0 -
Aww teshuoha, sorry to hear you're feeling a bit down at the moment
What if every week you were to print out a financial summary with a list of upcoming expenses over the next fortnight and then magpin it on the fridge door or something? That way your OH will keep seeing it and subconsciously memorise it so he starts thinking about what your shared commitments are and knows that you aren't mismanaging anything?0 -
Hi - hope youre feeling better now. This seems a mirror-image to a conversation/argument me and my OH had about 2 weeks ago - made me feel so low as though everything was MY fault and he had nothing to do with the situation. I think MY trouble in teh past was trying to deal with everything on my own and since my lightbulb moment etc.. if i'm worried about debts and missed payments then i talk to OH about it, it doesnt really pay the bills or debts any quicker but at least youve shared the problems.
Maybe he feels the same as you at the moment and is on a downer himself??
Keep at it and stick together - hugs to you and i hope things improve fo ryou soon.

Dont know where the thanks button is but thanks anyway to all of you. This is lovely its like coming home to a lot of hand written letters lying on the mat and having the pleasure of reading them. OH seems more cheerful tonight. I said to him that ive updated the bank account. I had all these complicated transfers where i was paying back money to accounts that I had taken money out of. Some of those other accounts are just for paying bills but ive cancelled all the standing orders tonight and Im keeping things simple so that i know where i am. He said good. Hes just talking about the traffic which suits me fine right now and theres football on tonight so thats cheered him up. Like all the tips. I am going to think about them. I like the fridge door one as its not as devastating as laying out all the debt in front of him after a hard day's work. Oh and his boss paid his wages directly into the bank today, though not before they charged me a total of £60 for 2 days. Am going to demand it back. Did that once a long time ago, pointed out that it was hardly helping my debt problems for them to take so much of my money and they refunded immediately but nowadays im not so sure that they will. Anyway I am feeling a lot brighter as theres a smile on OHs face again so that makes a lot of difference. Thanks again guys, i can always rely on you.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
