Unpaid item dispute

1. item won on 7/07/09
2. forgot to pay for item but i asked if i could pay by cheque and used postal address on the checkout page
3. roll on 20/08/09 item still not received and cheque hasnt been cashed
so either the cheque has gone missing or the cheque wasnt received by the seller
ok ive emailed the seller basically saying what ive put above and asked if we could put it down as a neutral
