that "the edge" pizzas are chaz-pish-poo,
yep thats right, they are thin as hell so it takes about 2 minutes for two hungry (and dare i say lean-mean-pizza-eating-machines) to finish them off. Trust me MSEs wen "u go pizza hut" don't "go edge", go for DEEP pan or Italian.

So where's the grabbit bargain then?
This will probably be moved;)Darren0 -
I prefer a thin pizza, it's the best sort of pizza, more like the real deal you get in Italy. But I doubt the Pizza Hut price tag is anything like the low price you pay in Italy.0

I used my sun voucher and asked what I could use it on. The manageress said basically £10 off anything and we could pay the extra if we wanted to upgrade.
Like youself I went for the edge and 5 toppings for an extra £2.00.
Had to wait a while but when it came the manageress said there were no extra large boxes so put into 2 large boxes. Opened them up and voila 2 large edge pizzas. Didn't know about this extra large thing she was going on about but I walked out thinking I got a free pizza and a smile on my face. My missus and I were very full afterwards. Someone please tell me I got a free pizza as I like to reward good service.0 -
I am just amazed that you managed to get served in PIzza Hut. We have noly been in it 3-times and only ever managed to get served a meal once - after 40 minutes of being ignored we have got up and walked out (and not paid for the drinks that they had managed to serve us .. those are considered to be a gesture of goodwill for wasting my time). On one occasion they had not even taken our order despite me reminding the waitress on a couple of occasions.
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
I'm surprised anyone shops there at all. For the same ball park price you can go to ask, zizzi or pizza express and eat an edible pizza, made thin and large like in Italy, with fresh dough and ingredients as topping.0

Agree with last post, however advertising is an extremly powerful weapon.0

Plus we don't have zizzi or pizza express in Northern Ireland!0

we used our sun voucher today and had a large deep pan pizza, but we had to go to 2 pizza huts before we found one that was able to serve us - those places get seriously packed dont they!!
anyway - nice pizza, not gonna complain after all it was free!!!Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.
A hug is a great gift - one size fits all and its easy to exchange

ive all but started boycotting pizza hut. the food is diabolical and the service is even worse!
how they are still in business is beyond me  !
i did manage to really impress my younger brother last christmas. i had taken him out late night shopping, and we had stopped for a pizza for supper. the food and service got progressively worse as the night wore on. the only aspect they didnt make a mess of was the ice cream factory for afters
anyhoo, i complained to the manager, who gave us the meal for free. my brother was seriously impressed - i dont think he had realised that you could do such a thing :rotfl: simple things

We went to Pizza Hut last night - normally if it is just me and OH we go to Ask or Zizzi's, but we were with people who prefer Pizza Hut, not sure why, but anyway - they got our order completely wrong, then tried to serve my OH who is vegetarian a pizza with meat on it, they took it back and then came back 20 mins later with the wrong order again. In the end three of us ate our pizzas - even though they had the wrong toppings on them and my OH ended up having to wait and eat his meatfree pizza, when it eventually arrived on his own.
The main complaint I have about all of this is not the fact that they got the order wrong, nor the fact that we had to wait about an hour before OH eventually got food, but that the waitress seemed to think that we were to blame for it all and kept telling us that we must have ordered the wrong pizzas or are we sure OH didn't order a meat one - being vegetarian we found that most unlikely!!! In the end we got sick of her blaming us and demanded to see the order the waitress had taken, we turned out to be exactly right in what we thought we had ordered and the chef for some reason best known to himself had served up whatever he wanted to, that or the waitress kept taking the orders to the wrong table.
Not a good experience. You never know how far you can fly, till you spread your wings.0
