The Cat was packed!


The Other half wasn't impressed the cat was coming....


Finally found a bath big enough for me;)...... everything was marble!! impressive!!!!


This was at Samode Palace, the living room adjoined to our bedroom, we were given the Kings room..... complete with its own water fountain smack bang in the middle of the bedroom..... magnificent!

Wow... This place was one of the highlights!!! The Floating Palace, there is a submerged storey which they will be draining the river and than refilling again as it was a sesspit!!!! hard to think looking at how beautiful, the stench was tummy churning!!!! Apparently this is going to be made in to a hotel.... maybe next time we go we will be staying in it hey lol

Didn't get to have a ride on the elephants at Amber Fort so visited a back street dude who cared for the injured elephants and got to spend some quality time with him and his family of elephants! He got the elephant to "Salute" with a branch! The elephant was in mid - dump - mode! comical!


This was a "marriage party" The bride couldn't stop giggling!


He he he he he.......... lots of pictures of these !!!! houses made out of dung etc!!!! Stood strawn along the sides of the roads.......... very impressive!!! lmao!

Cant see them in this picture but the camel was carrying new born camels in the sacks!!!! Their ickle heads would peek out every now and again... cute!

This girl was a true beaut! She took a shine to us whilst in Agra.... she waited outside the hotel for us daily, she was a street kid and i never saw her without a smile on her chops!!!

Another day. another hotel!! Mansingh Palace.


And another heavily loaded cart... loving the heavily loaded scooter too!!!


The "All Male" Mumbai washing Dudes!........ over 5,000 males work here day in day out washing clothes, sheets, etc.... no women allowed!!! :T




We went up this hehehehe......... spotted it in a park in Mumbai..... Wish I was a kid again!!!




We had over 1,500 pictures, so really hard to pick the cream of the crop, lots of impressive places, lots of horrendous areas also!!!! This was a once in a lifetime trip for both myself and Mr Polo, I am made - up!!!!! Thank you MSE Compers for the fab comps you all post!!!! I would never in a million years believed it possible to have such a huge win from here!!! Never in a million years believed what with all my operations and health problems that I would ever get out of the country!!!!

I have come back humbled! I feel I have finally "lived" a little part of my life after spending the last 15yrs having numerous operations and being stuck led here for what seems a lifetime.

I am truly greatful!
