Bargain Holidays From Thomas Cook -Quick! (moved)

I have some info from a Thomas Cook insider (I don't work there)telling me they have slashed prices to some very good locations next week to £99 for a week including transfers, fuel surcharges etc etc. No under occupancy charges. They are finding it very tough at the moment so need to shift holidays they have comitted to buy.
You won't find the holidays on the internet or through any travel agents you have to go to ITV teletext page 282 (wait till you get to page 10/21) to get the freephone number for where you want to go. I've had a look and they are on there.
I haven't got enough holiday leave to take advantage of this deal BUT I WISH I HAD.
These prices are less than half the cheapest I could find elswhere and I am assured that it's named accomodation and most is four star.
Hope this is useful

I just looked and yes there are holidays for £99 on page 10 but page 21 there is only one holiday for £99 the rest are more expensive.Plus they are not 4 star it states on the page they are 3 star or SC.
Most holiday company's offer £99 holidays when it gets that close to departure anyway don't they?Darren0 -
Thomas Cook don't often sell holidays for £99, believe me. Having said that it's not compulsory that you actually book one. Just trying to be helpful. If you rang them you would find out they name the accomodation. Maybe not for all but for most. Have a look round and see if you can beat this price with another opertator. My friend drowned in a bowl of muesli.

Sorry,
But Thomas Cook, like all travel agents do, and always have sold last minute deals at that price.
If you just log on to https://www.thomascook.co.uk you will see deals from £89.
Should this not be posted in the travel section, as these deals are ongoing?0 -
I just phoned, the operator didn't seem to know anything about it.
I believe the deals on page 10 WERE for 2 people, but it doesn't say that now, and the best she could do for a single was 250 quid for B+B in turkey0 -

Perhaps you should have made you orignal post a bit clearer then:rolleyes:Darren0 -
you will find that the month of may is usually a good time to find holiday bargains, Its hard for parents and kids to get time away due to SATS. Me my daughter and my mum went to Majorca last year for £111 each 3* HB, 14th - 21st May and booked 5 weeks in advance.MSE:-)MoneySpendingExpert (-:0

Yes you are correct, but try and price this "£89" holiday and with the suppliments and transfers for two adults it comes to................................................ £384. The point I was making in my original post was that the price of £99 is what you will pay, no supplements or surcharges. Maybe a charge for an in flight meal if you want one.
