Paypal payment sticker

Can I buy paid postage labels with Paypal funds - that mean I can just stick them on my package then into my work postal tray, rather than take everything to the post office and paying with my card as the funds wait to transfer into my bank? Does this also work with international parcels?

That would make posting quicker and easier if so so it would be good to know :)

If you log into paypal and find the item you want to send it gives you the option of paying for postage. You need the weight though and you also need to be accurate about whether it is a large letter or a package. nYou then print a label (you don't get a choice of second class though unfortunately) and stick the label on the package and then straight into a post box.

The drawback is that you have no proof of postage so if item gets lost you can't reclaim from Royal mail and paypal will refund the buyer as they would in any other case.

You can also print direct from the Royal mail site and they do give you the option of second class.

Ah, thanks for that. I send a lot of stuff second-class as it makes it cheaper for the buyer, but it's good to know when someone wants it more quickly.

You can also pre-pay for postage via the Royal Mail Website, which has a similar system to Paypal, except that you pre-load your account with funds. This is useful if you want the second class option.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

You can also buy postage online on R.M website, print that off and stick it on too, dont know if that allows 2nd class. I used to use the paypal one but i always get proof of posting which means i still have to que to get the certificate stamped and some of the big post offices in towns round her getting funny about it too!

I don't pre load when I use Royal mail, I just use a credit card as you can pay for one off items even if they are only cheap.

Soolin, do you mean using a cc to 'pay' for all parcels/letters over a certain amount, or eg less than £10 ?

Won't you get funny stares from PO staff and pensioners behind the queues? ?

Sorry, I was still talking about online Royal mail postage. As was said earlier you can pre load your account and just print until your money runs out, but if you pay by credit card (not debit card though) you can buy each and every small pre paid postage you want. In the post office I do use a debit card as that way I have a back up record of all my business expenses..although then my bill is usually around the £10-£25 a day mark.

You can use a debit or CC for payments under £5 in the PO. One of the few places you can

Even for amounts of £1 or under? :D

I tend not to at the sub, with the crown possibly if over £10 or Special Delivery.

Before being Off Topic, what is the minimum amount that anyone has tried? (Don't want to get funny stares from staff, people in the queue etc)
