Paypal Sellers Account, paying for goods as a Buyer

Before I started to sell I had my buyer purchases paid via my credit card. Ages ago when I became a seller I found my buyer payments were taken from my bank account with the credit card as a back up.
I would prefer to pay for purchases by card as I have more protection if things go wrong.
Did I see some thing a while ago that says you no longer have to have a Premier account as a seller?
If you don't have a premier account, does this put purchases back to credit card only, if so how do I change from the premier account?
Or is having a separate Buyer & Seller account on eBay the only way to be able to pay by credit card.

If you dont have a premier account you cant accept purchases via credit or debit card which will effect any sales and cause problems. When you but something you can select other funding options then pick a card that you have registered with Paypal you just have to remember to do this when you buy. It only takes 2 seconds0

Thanks.
I haven't tried to pay by CC for a while because I know it alway selects the bank payment even if I select other funding.
I have heard that from middle of next month you will be able to set card as default, so I will look into that.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
