A friends PC is on the blink with the blue screen. The user32.dll file is missing, (I am guessing due to antivirus quarantining it?)
Can anybody please advise how to copy the file back to its original location using the recovery disk?
According to another site (found via google)

Just boot in to recovery console and copy the backed up USER32.dll file from \WINDOWS\system32\dllcache to system32 folder

However, I do not know the correct syntax for that. (even after reading the below article).

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Be nice

Note X is the drive letter of the CD Rom
