Guttering over conservatory

Hi all
We have an old conservatory on our house, but the guttering around the roof of the house has come away and the rain is affecting ours and next door's property. The guttering won't be expensive I know, but in order to get to it, I have been informed requires scaffolding (ie, the conservatory is is the way). So, to mend a piece of guttering is going to cost in excess of £700! Is there any way I can claim this on my building insurance? Or does anyone have any other ideas :eek:

just pay for the job to be done its simply wear and tear so wouldnt imagine it would be covered on insurance .its because of people claiming for things like this that insurance premiums keep going upif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0
