When do Megatrain release their tickets?

I am looking to travel from Nottingham to London and tickets are available for the day I want to travel on the East Midlands Train website, but that date is not yet availale on Megatrain (out by one week).
Does anyone know how often they update their site or when the next lot of tickets will be released?
THanks

At one time they released train tickets approx 45 days ahead of travel - ie well after East Midlands Trains.

Other posters have indicated that this may no longer be so - in which cas, dunno.

they normally release them after a lengthy campaign from the british consul
You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.

Well, they've just released tickets into 2010, so they must release in bulk lots.
  • The cheap ones go on sale 45 days before usually although I'm not sure at what time (it may be midnight).

I'm waiting for cheap tickets to go on sale from London to Portsmouth (and back again) on 17 October. They are currently on sale up to 15 October, 45 days ahead.

Might be an idea to keep an eye on the newcomer to the London-Portsmouth route...

    Greyhound Coaches.

Ok, again tickets not available yet for 17 October, but at £2.50 return, must be good.
  • I checked the Megatrain site recently and it was showing dates for January! I'm tempted to book them and use them as part of a Christmas pressie. (Southampton - London Waterloo route).
