Well its a risk i took, like i said i wont complain if i dont get them as ive not lost anything. But it was worth a try, for me anyway! And they shouldnt be making these codes available if they dont expect to lose a lot of money through it!

surely better to get one item free, and for other people to benefit, than be greedy, order multiples and end up with nothing? Way i see it anyway.

Like i said, if i end up with nothing i do not care. Nothing to lose. And again, they arent going to pull all orders just because of ME using a code twice. God, some people will try an arguement over anything.

It's not an argument over nothing. Misusing codes is not what this site is about. I'll leave it be now. Hope everyone gets their order

I think they may regret not putting a minimum spend on the Cosmo offer.

I waited 15 minutes, email just came through. Ordered the shampoo for dark hair, just dyed it back to my natural colour so this has helped me stop freaking out everytime I look in the mirror :T

I do feel a bit bad for the amount of requests MSE seems to give to companies but we are in a recession and unless its a really small company, they should have enough cash to give us one little freebie :rolleyes:

I do feel a bit bad about 'abusing' the code, but the way I see it is that a) if they do deliver, I will certainly use them again, b) I do sometimes read Cosmo so it's not inconceivable that I would have bought the magazine and done it legitimately, and c) they have to account for pass-on rates for the publication which the code appeared in, which will be signigicantly higher than the actual sales of the magazine.

Of course they're totally within their rights to pull the promotion. I remember there was one for MOP not too long ago which was pulled (although I must've got in early as I did still get the freebie).
