4 day week

hi everyone I have been on a 4 day week since december 2008 , spoke too a old work mate who is also been on a 4 day week for 6 months and says he claims £25 a day for each day off he has and claims its done though the tax office anyone heard of this or know how to claim, thanks martyn

We get 21£ odd for the first 5 days we are 'laid off' for, so a small payment for the first five weeks essentially. This is, as far as I'm aware, a legal requirement in some circumstances.0
