Vax Carpet Cleaners

Hi i need a Vax carpet cleaner but i have no idea which model to buy...?
Are the Heated water Vax much better than the cold water vax?
I need one with a upholstery cleaner to clean my suite and car seats.
Which model gives best perfomance for price?
I dont really want to be bending down to scrub so an upright would be best.

My carperts are not badly soiled but i have a dog and would like to keep them clean. I have suggested buying the cleaner with my mum and sis to share, so we have a good budget.

I need a good one.

Any advice on cleaners would be appreciated

Why does it have to be Vax?? I would recommend Bissell ..we have the aromapro which heats the water and has attachments for upholstery. Got ours as reconditioned from Bissell (ours is equivalent to the proheat which we ordered).

I second Andy's comments, I have a Vax vacum cleaner and a Bissel carpet washer and the build quality on the Bissel is 100% better.

We have had a lower Vax carpet washer for nearly 2 years now, and it's great. Friends came round once and said "have you had new carpet fitted?" answer, no, we'd just vaccummed then used the Vax.
Never seen a Bissell so cant comment on the build quality.
The Vax models come with a 6 year guarantee.

Have got the Vax carpet cleaner,older model but looks very similar to V-020U Wash Vax, and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Very hard work to use .I wouldnt have one again if I was paid to.
