Packaging shoes sold on Ebay?

I've recently listed a few pairs of shoes on Ebay and am excited to see that they have bids! But can't think how best to package them as they don't have boxes. I've only ever sold books and CDs before, which were easy to pop in jiffy bags! What do other Ebayers do when posting shoes? Bubble wrap? Spare boxes? Plastic bags? Brown paper? Help!

The last time I sold shoes on Ebay i packaged them in a johnsons babywipes box (new baby so have tonnes of them) The buyer emailed me to say she's never had such a good laugh from receiving a parcel!

    Hey,
I have sold shoes before on ebay, I crumbled up some paper and put it inside the shoe so just incase it gets squished in the post, it still have its shape. the shoes i bought were flat shoes so they fit easily into a jiffy bag but i would say if ur going to be selling high heels then opt to finding an old shoe box or the original one (if possible). or if this is not avaliable try bubble wrapping it and then putting it into a big jiffy bag with lots of old newspapers.

    Hope this helps

This is what I do, I think its the cheapest option.

If i dont have a box thats suitable then i will bubble wrap them and stick them in a jiffy bag. Often they will slide in to a ceral box or a like so i use them wish some bubble wrap for protection etc

the newspaper idea is a good one too
