If the wireless router has been properly set up it will not be broadcasting its identity and it will be denying access to any device that is not on its MAC list. (That's MAC as in Media Access Control - nothing to do with Apple Macs.)

So, you'd need first to add the iPhone's MAC ID to the wireless router's MAC list and then instruct the iPhone to connect to the network by name, by encryption method and with the network's password.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,

Have you tried instructing the iPhone, manually, to connect to the network by name, by encryption method and with the network's new password?

And, have you tried connecting the iPhone to a free, open wireless network (for example, at a McDonald's premises) ?

If it can't do that, take it to an Apple Retail Store, to an 02 shop, or to a Carphone Warehouse shop and ask them to check it out.

Try broadcasting the wireless signal on a different channel!
