Orange £20 HMV voucher

Comments

  • thinly veiled as "compensate me" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Huh? Care to elaborate?
  • I also still haven't received the promised £20 HMV vouchers - despite emails back and forth and numerous promises that I'll be sent a code within 3/5/10 working days ! The only thing I'm looking for is the promised deal - if they can't be bothered to provide that why on earth would they provide "compensation"?
  • Hi,
Sorry to read of the problems you are experiencing.

If you call PAYG Customer Services on 450 from your Orange phone, they will be able to offer support for this issue.

    Hope this helps.

Just to point out, that calling the 450 is simply an exercise in more hitting of (your) head against the brick-wall that is Orange 'Customer Services'.

    Have fun! ;)

I've given up hoping I'll ever get this voucher. My emails are going ignored by cutomer services. Needless to say, I won't ever be dealing with Orange again.
  • I've been scammed too. It's been over 30 days, and at least 14 since customer services promised it would arrive in 5 days. All this is in breach of the distance selling regulations so I'll probably approach trading standards. The orange rep on this page has suggested their customer services but isn't 450 a chargeable number? I phoned using saynoto0870 and I was on hold for 40 minutes each time. Then the people knew nothing of the deal. This was also after my top up took 10 days to materialise! I've emailed 3 times and they didn't even bother to answer my last 2. Thank god I only went for PAYG as a contract would have been a nightmare. They are obviously a very poor company and invest nothing in customer service. Maybe the rep on this page could prove otherwise and get it sorted for us?

I sent yet another email to Orange customer services on 13/10 and received a reply today to say my HMV voucher text code had been sent to my phone on 05/10/09 - oh no it wasn't:rolleyes:!! Have just emailed asking for it to be sent "again" - now totally sick of the whole saga!

Despite ringing orange too many times to recall I have not received my hmv voucher either, each time they say they will escalate & I will have it in xnumber of days, then I receive a text to say it is being dealt with, after that... nothing

I think everyone who took up this offer is having the same problem

    Lets be honest..

No you're not sorry at all, you don't care about they people your company is screwing, you only care that they're paying you a wage. If you did care, you wouldn't stand for the way your company treats people, and you'd insist they mend their ways immediately, or you'd leave their employment at once.

    Orange, very disreputable..

Orange Darren does not appear to be any help at all too people, all he appears to have done is promote an offer and lull people into a false sense of security. When it comes to dealing with issues such as above, he is obviously not intrested or out of his depth. He should be thrown off this site as he is usless and his apperance goes against the spirit of MSE.

All u peeps having problems report this pile junk company to trading standards asap...........

gud luk u will need it!!!!
