Eurocamp - 2010 holidays

Hi..

Just looking ahead to our 2010 family holiday.

Have received a brochure in the post from EUROCAMP who have parcs all around Europe (and further afield too). Was wondering whether anybody could offer any feedback on their experiences of the parcs and the Company in general ?

I don't have any feedback, but have booked a holiday with S iblu (go via Quidc0 for cashback) for next year and it was mega-cheap booking so far in advance. HTH.

For advice other than what you'll receive on here, I'd say go onto tripadvis0r.com

Eurocamp are fab. Customer services in the event of a problem, Reps, accommodation- all top notch.

However...they & Keycamp are both part of the same company- and Keycamp is cheaper! Accommodation can occasionally be a little older- but we've had no problems with them at all, and have used them quite a few times.

Also, although they have fewer parks, check out Canvas Holidays. They can work out cheaper still- we've been with them twice, and again, no problems.

The main thing to watch for when comparing the three, is wether the prices they're quoting include the ferry or not. Eurocamp dont- you add it. Canvas do...so make sure it's all in before you decide.

Also, they're all prices for 2 + 4, which is straightforward. However, if you have an extra adult etc, some will accommodate them free at certain times, some wont.

    Enjoy!

We have used Keycamp in the past - agree with prev poster that these are cheaper than Eurocamp.

I have booked with Siblu for 2010. Although it is a bit more exoensive than Keycamp I could not find any Keycamp places left for the time we want with aircon & decking, both of which we feel are so important. (We have 2 LO's & the aircon is great for getting out of the heat for an hour with a DVD, & decking means you have a clean extra living area as the placements are often quite dusty)

Re Kittikins posting about quidco, we have gone through them BUT T&C in Siblu brochure stste the 2010 early booking discount can't be used with any other discount so we are expecting to get it rejected at some point (bonus if it does not!).

The great thing about these parks is they usually have a fab pool complex. Trip Advisor is worth a look at reviews if you like a site. Remember though that some people will not be happy whatever so you always get some negative reviews!
