hi all.
new to this site. hope that i ask the right questions?
have been self employed for 25 years +. have had various loans over the years for vans. cars etc. also credit cards. have always paid them never defaulted. always had ppi's. i have been informed that as i am self employed,if for some reason i could not work ie illness no work or accidents, i would not be able to claim due to self employment? every loan credit card agreement knew i was self employed. have i got a valid reason for claiming.
thanks in advance.

Who told you that?
Some PPI policies do exclude self employed. Some don't. No-one can tell you that just because you are self employed that you are not covered. You would have to check your policy to make sure.have i got a valid reason for claiming.
