Many years ago we had a Kenwood with ceramic bowl, K beater etc that I bought in Australia whilst in RN, always mixed bread dough with it
One day after a few years of use back in UK, the bowl just broke whilst kneading, we wrote to Kenwood who at the time were based in Havant explaining this
They sent us free a replacement, which I thought then & still think now, was very good customer service
That was decades ago, no idea if same now as Havant closed & not even sure if a UK company any longer
Congrats on a good buyGardener’s pest is chef’s escargot0 -

well on the basis I didn't have time to look it up on the net, I just cleaned with soapy water on the outside and didn't touch inside at all. The grease was absolutely horrendous, it looks like someone never cleaned it at all.
A bit of attention with a toothbrush and everything looks just that little bit nicer again, though I think I broke a bit of plastic on the front of the machine (it showed sign of being superglued)
Most alarmingly was the state of the flexi cord which was horrendously dangerous having bare wires etc. It's only a simple job to rewire so I'll do it myself but if someone else had got it, it could have killed them! buyer beware!Tim0
