Hi I ve read some of thses threads about ppi and have been contacted by a firm saying for 28% they will act on my behalf. I have found my direct line loan agreement and read the terms and conditions on the back. Because it was so long ago I cant remember if the sales person told me any of the information or grounds for wich i was mislod the loan. Where do I stand can i claim or not . is it too late . Many thanks
Adi.
Just as a side note I have finished paying for a car loan from armed srevices finance and again this has ppi on it can this be done?

Hello and welcome.;)
Personally I would not pay out on these companies, not when you can do this yourself free with help on this site, with Martin's templates etc.
At least this way if successful you will get to keep all of your money.
How long ago was it that you taken this out/year?
If you no paperwork you can write to them to request a true copy of your CCA (agreement), enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment, and tell them you look forward to receiving this by 12 days of your request and post by recorded delivery.
This agreement should show the amount borrowed and insurance etc.
For more information on PPI reclaiming, check here in the link below, and if you want to go further with this and need help, please just ask, good luck.

Hi Adi.;)
I would go for it then if you have a reason of them mis selling this to you, and its not too late at all.
You do not actually need to write the figures on the reclaim letter at this point although its handy to have them in case you need to refer to them at a later date.
There are many reasons for mis selling, check on this link here and you will find the reasons on there:

I would also ask in your case in writing for a copy of the recorded telephone calls, maybe wait to see what's in them when you listen through this and take it from there, if your not sure if you have any reason at this time.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I would take off your name and address and account numbers.. I have not quoted on this so no worries but definately needs removing.0

Remove all that personal information asap. You're asking for all sorts of problems if you leave it0

was the bit about asking for the telephone recording correct in the letter?0

You can request the telephone recordings if you request a SAR from them and this costs £10 and can take up to 40 days for them to comply with.was the bit about asking for the telephone recording correct in the letter?
