Anbody know how I can get any discounts on Brittany Ferries ?

Am being quoted £520 for a return over the Summer with car as am away for 11 days however this drops to £470 for 10 days which seems totally discriminate pricing (apparantly their tiers are 1 day, 5 days, 10days and 10days or more)

Is there anything to stop me from just booking 2 x 1 day return trips ?

And if there is anything to stop me, could I do a 1 day return trip on the outward ferry (Eg Brittany) and then pay for a standard single on the return with another company eg LD Lines ?

If you do the day returns the small print states that they can then charge you the extra if you don't return but I read somewhere on here that somebody does it all the time and has never been charged
