does internal water piping need to be replaced for new heating system?

    re capacity:
    15mm pipe will provide 2.5 times the heat flow rate of 10mm pipe.
    Get some gorm.

    How would they furr up though? Isn't the central heating a sealed system, once it's filled there should be very little water, and calcium/furr, added to the system over the years?

    Fair enough you might get rust sludge from the radiators but couldn't you flush that out, it doesn't stick to the copper like furr does it?
  • If you live in a soft water area as well then there is again less point to change it, however I wish my new house had been built with 15mm pipe..
