Hi,
I was given this player for an xmas pressie....
I thought it as multi-regional. It is to a point, however it plays region 1,3,0 back back & white. >:(
Region 2 DVD's are ok.
Anyone know why this is and how can resolve it. ?

Is your TV NTSC compatible?
Is it PAL/60 compatible?
Whats the make and model of the TV?0 -
There's nothing to say on the tv if it is any of the things you mentioned. It's a 14" Sharp portable and I have had it a while. However before I got the dvd player I used to plug in my portable dvd player ( that was multi-regional ) and had no problem with playback using the leads + scart......... ???Things to do today :

Try the setup of the DVD player and see if there is a Video option to force the output to be PAL and not AUTO.0 -
