Decent Wireless Keyboard & Mouse?

Hi

I am looking for a wireless keyboard & mouse for a laptop similar to this
on QVCUK Website called Sandberg Wireless Touchpad Keyboard Up To 10 Metres its got reviews on amazon co uk item number 561 720
Price £37:76 there are no reviews on Qvcuk shopping channel yet I would prefer a
separate wireless mouse or am I stuck with the built in laptop variety?

Any suggestions appreciated

James

Yes you can use a wireless mouse with your laptop, the wireless adaptor (not sure if this is the right name, the little box thing the mouse talks to is what I mean...) plugs into a USB port, I suspect the wireless keyboard will too.

Personally I wouldn't get that particular keyboard, it doesn't have a number pad so entering numbers would be fiddly.

How much can you spend in total for the keyboard and mouse? Do you need a wireless one, or would a wired one be ok (because it's probably be cheaper)?

What is it about the laptop keyboard you don't like? Just so people know not to suggest a wireless keyboard that is similar :)

Hello I do not like the laptop inbuilt Mouse and as you said having a numerical input
is advisable with £ Euro and Usdollar sign $ aswell the R with a circle around it character its basically registered trademark symbol not essential though.

I have looked at Argos's UK online website argos co uk
how much can I spend up too £100:00 but that would be foolish

As for wired or wireless option this keyboard and mouse would have to reach from settee (couch) to the laptop thats connected directly into the Television about 4 metre max so I am open to both options.

    Thanks,

    James

    Sorry forgot to reply!

I've used microsoft wireless keyboards and mice in the past and been very happy with them. Not sure of the maximum range, from a quick look online it seems 30ft though.

I tried just now to see if mine would work from that distance, but I can't see the mouse pointer on the screen from that far away...

Argos, Dixons etc will have microsoft mice & keyboards so if you want to see them before you buy that's the sort of place to look.

You would have great difficulty in seeing anything at Dixons before you buy, they are online retailers only, and Argos isn't much better, unless you are happy to take stuff back to them within their timeframe.

You don't need to buy things to see them in Argos, just go up to the counter and say you want to have to look before you buy it.

re: Dixons, oh ok, just looked up on google, Currys bought all the shops? Or are they the same company? the shops still sell the same stuff though I think.
