Hi
All of a sudden I can no longer double click a media file (mp3 / mpg / avi etc..) and it opens. I now have to right click it and select open with windows media player and it then opens fine.
I checked my set up of program access and defaults and it says windows media player is my default player....?
Any ideas what has happened
Thanks in advance
Michael

You could try this :-
Hold <shift> and right click any .mp3 file, on the menu select 'Open With...' and select 'Choose Program'. It probably will have Windows Media player as one of the top options, make sure 'Always use this program to open this type of file' is checked and click Windows Media Player.
