if you don't have any empties to refill, have a look in Poundland if you're near one. last time I was in there they had packs of 3 or 4 (can't remember which) little empty plastic bottles

Thanks everyone. Had already looked in Tescos, Wilkos and Poundland, but will keep checking. No Home Bargains near me.

    Hi all

This year I am using the tubs from the free boots vitamin C tablets. I tried the paracemal tubs one year but was rather a disaster as they are child proof tops and hard to open. Everytime I flipped the lid the contents sprayed me.

I saw a small travel bag in Matalan today with some travel size bottles in. It was £2. I think it had 3 or 4 bottles in and something else but I'm not sure what!
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

I've been looking for travel bottles too and didn't want to pay the Superdrug price. Thanks for your suggestions about cheaper options, if the thanks button was still there...........I'd have been busy clicking on this thread.

    Thanks guys;)

What a coincidence Tina, I am going to Coventry on 13th May. Just a day trip to meet up with some friends, but I've packed the tiniest little collection of overnight essentials in case the train back is cancelled, or anything goes wrong, and we have to book into a hotel. A folding toothbrush and spare undies and I'm sorted. I'd look a real fright without the use of a hairdryer, but what the heck!

I've just been decanting stuff into a few teensy little plastic eye drop bottles that I was given after my cataract ops. They are ideal for a bit of shampoo, cleanser etc. So if any of you get given these bottles, they are well worth hanging on to.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Look on the freebies section - If you send off for the original source stuff it comes in a very nice 'travel sized' bottle. Its posted very quickly too, we had ours within a week!

Save all the little bottles from gift sets which you get at Christmas/birthday - never throw them out, as they will always come in useful. Body Shop, Avon, M & S, Boots gift sets are all a great size for travel. Also those tiny little bottles in hotel rooms are great for weekend trips. I also keep all tiny little pots/jars which either originally held cosmetics or foodstuff such as jam - great for moisturiser/handcream etc.
I never seem to have enough due to DD always chucking them, despite reminders to bring them home!
Also good are free sachets of shampoo, moisturiser and the likes which you get in magazines, or through the mail.
I like the small pump dispensers for shower gel, which doubles up as handwash on holiday - seems to be a bit more economical - just remember to keep the little clip to prevent pump activating in transit!
Also good for overnight/weekend breaks are those little toothpaste/brush kits you get on flights.
Boots have a good range of travel accessories too, have no idea of current prices, but can recommend their plastic spray bottles - great for skin toner, not just for going away, but for everyday use - it lasts so much longer when sprayed onto face, then wiping off, rather than putting onto cotton pads or whatever you would use. I also fill one with bottled water and add a few drops of essential oil (such as lavender, rose or peppermint) - absolutely brilliant on holiday and on a flight to cool down/revive you.
