Hi Came in from work today to find we had no hot water hubby fiddled with timer and we can get hot water if we turn water on manually not if we set a time for water to come on. Does anyone think the same as me its not the boiler it is the timer that is the problem.
Does anyone have a rough idea what a new timer will be and if it is a easy job.
Any central heating experts out there that can give any advice would be good.
Will be ringing the plumbing company that services our boiler tomorrow morning as they were shut today.
Thanks
Oggy

If you mean you swiched the timer manually, then yes it sounds like the timer is broken. They cost about £35 + labour, not more than 1/2 hour to replace.
