Updated Firefox now things have disappeared

I d/l the latest version of Firefox - however now have restarted it there are a few things missing:

- all my entries in google search box

- all entries in task bar

- also where I used to fill in forms on line on various websites and my name address etc came up automatically it has all disappeared

- when I used to close down Firefox a box came up asking about various things and if I wanted to cancel them e.g passwords, browsing history etc.

Any ideas or does this just happen when you d/l a new version?

When you install a new version of Firefox, it checks that the add-ons are compatible with the latest version. It sounds as though you skipped this step and as a result some of the add-ons have been disabled.

Click Tools => Add-Ons
Click "Find Updates"
If any updates are found, click "Install Updates"
Click "Restart Firefox"
