I am the middle person in 3 property chain. The property I'm buying is vacant. The property I'm selling has been surveyed and checked etc by the buyers 1 month ago. I now hear they have not had their mortgage offer yet!!
I've done everything I can and am ready to go. I was hoping to move in May but at the moment it seems like I'll never move.

I understand completly.
I'm a FTB and I'm not in any chain, the flat is vacant and seller wants shut of it ASAP. Should be pretty straightforward but there seems to be one hiccup after another.
I think I'd be losing the plot if I was in a chain.
Best of luck to you and I hope it gets sorted soon

Try & establish why they haven't got a mortgag offer yet, it may be something simple such as their employer hasn't returned a reference or the lender hasn't had a piece of information thet they have requested. Get your agent onto their broker/lender to find out what is going.0
