Does anybody have any advice in getting my ipod to play in the car as i have 3 kids and the wife to put up with on a long drive. I was looking at a belkin tunebase fm2 with clear scan but not sure what the reception will be like as it plays through the car stereo. As i dont have an aux input on the car stereo would this be the best solution?
thanks in advance

If you don't have any inputs on your car stereo, an FM transmitter is the easiest way to go.0

fm transmitters are the best option for quality, look on ebay the itrip from griffin is by far the best option0

most new JVC car radios have i pod extension that goes into your glove box . Wife got a Brand new one for £56 off ebay .
Griffin I trip is best FM transmitter if you keep your current radio . .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
FM Transmitter is good. I have one and the reception and sound quality is fine.
You just need to find a frequency that is not already being used and tune it to that.
I got mine off ebay from a USA seller for £2.99 delivered. Sweet!0 -
I found that my FM transmitter is a pain

FM transmitters can be a pain if you go any distance. Pound to a penny if you find a nice free frequency at home by the time you've done 20 miles there will be a transmitter competing with your MP3 and often as not winning.
For a while I unscrewed the antenna whenever I wanted to use it but in the end I just gave up and now if I want to use the MP3 player I use the headphones with it.0 -
I've got one of those casette that plugs into the Ipod and the tape player from tesco for about £10, seems quite good for what it is.I hate migraines.0

Are you saying you drive with headphones on? You're not serious? No free lunch, and no free laptop
