Our vendor is threatening to pull out :(

Oh how I sympathise ... however, I'm in exactly the opposite position and am seriously considering pulling out from a purchase because the solicitors for the people I'm buying from seem to be a complete bunch of idiots. I can only hope your sale/purchase goes through soon as I do my own!
My vendors solicitor just seems to be incompetent, take up to a week to respond to a fax despite us knowing he has the documents we want already (I am in contact with the vendor). Seriously **** me off!0 -
Solicitors have to delay things otherwise everyone would think they could do it for themselves.
I am completing on Friday, had a four week delay as my vendors solicitor was waiting on a copy of a death certificate from the solicitor selling the property they were buying.
My solicitor was blaming this for the delay and how it was terrible, they weren't quite so happy when I exploded after after finding out the selling solicitor for this second property was my firm of solicitors.
Exchange occurred 2 minutes after my irate call, funny how things work out.0 -
hope you got your house op.
