Thanks CP
Well feel much better this morning, dh has gone to work so must get on with the ironing today and start packing for tomorrow
Last night when dh came in I was so upset I didn't even want to go on holiday but having slept on it I feel better today, tbh this debtbusting lark gets me down sometimes, having a break a couple of times a year helps me to forget about it for a week or so (and keeps me sane) the funny thing is if we didn't have this debt we would be able to afford holidays to some amazing places that we'd love to visit, Canada, NZ, etc but that time will come I'm sure.
If anyone is wondering why I said I wanted the debt total to be under 32k by xmas in my first post and have since revised that to 35k, it's purely cos I can't add up properly! and not because we have decided to spend £3k of that on a flash holiday, the holiday was paid for months ago.
Anyway, plans for today are to tidy up, get the ironing done and hang washing out, clean downstairs loo, pack for tomorrow, bake tonight for goodies to take with us on hol, wash car tonight when dh gets home so real exciting stuff!
May make another payment on the A&L card today aswell, prob £3 max I think, need to watch what we are spending as my wage has to last until 30th September as that's when I get paid in my new jobAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

having a good day today, baked some bread and a chocolate cake, yum!, cleaned up, done the ironing and washing and started sorting out what we need to pack.
Have just been noseying around on facebook as I haven't ever really used it before so that's been interesting to say the least!
have paid another £9 off the A&L card today with any luck I may be able to have that paid off by the end of Sept, DD is at grandad's so house is quiet, apart from DS who has his head buried in the TV, dh should be home from work in a couple of hours then we can get on with things.
I am soooooooooo looking forward to a week away without having to worry about debts.Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

Hi Millie, have a great break with your family and enjoy every minute. I think you have done fantastically well and deserve as many holidays and breaks as you like. IT IS YOUR LIFE!!!
Ignore the idiot who says otherwise.
Have fun, forget debt busting and enjoy every minute.

Hi Millie
Just came across ur diary, and ur going brilliantly, sorry you had the misfortune of idiots, I'm sure they have nothing better to do than stick their beak in.
Hope you have a good hoiday, I think I'm the same as you on the senic route. In theory I could be debt a yr or 2 earlier, but I need a life, be that holidays, I personally might go out once every couple of months for lunch or a curry with friends, but my holidays are my sanity.
Good luck with the debt busting xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
