Thanks Maz, it makes a change for me. Not being very productive at work today but ho hum...
Just found out I get an £8 refund for the magazine sub I cancelled so that can be added to this month's budget.. when the cheque arrives!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Evening, not been on here after work for ages! Some good news, found out where I need to pay my old loan debt to, and it's less than I thought! :j Also discovered that my newly arranged direct debits don't start till next month, so have actually got a bit extra to play with... or be sensible with! Thinking if I put aside what I thought was going to payments this month then with a bit of extra budgeting I should be able to get rid of that pesky £146 debt at the end of the month. Sounds like a plan?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Sounds like an excellent plan :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks Hypno!
Well I've already done one thing on the list today which was to pick up a couple of parcels from the PO - have now got my new coat for winter (although I hope winter doesn't turn up too fast) which only cost me £15 (reduced from £60 :j)
Second thing is new budget taking into account the lack of debt payments:

Spent so far £81.20.
Left £360.06
Extra made from surveys etc £15.58 (£10 Amazon voucher, £4.48 cashback, £1 Clubcard voucher) but keeping this separate for now.
So if I want to pay off the £146.16 before next payday I need to spend no more than £213.90 between now and 22nd Sept. Added to the £81.20 already spent makes £295.10 budget for the month - off to amend sig!
Third task is to do a new SOA for next month onwards (assuming I do manage to pay off that little one this month).
Fourth is to write to DCA re loan payments.
Realised I've not said a lot on the smiley and smart bits.. smiley is variable but generally better, still need to find a big chunk of confidence from somewhere. Smart - well I'm in all new clothes today thanks to the Asda sale, think I am making more of an effort most days and it does make me feel better.
Have a good day everyone :cool:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
