Creditors meeting re- F & F offer

Hi everyone, I have another thread started which relates to calculating an offer to complete an IVA early however we have moved on a stage and the IVA company has agreed to put the offer forward to the creditors.

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share their experience of the response received from their creditors in this situation.

Have people generally received yes's or no's?!

Sorry to ramble, I just feel positive about the news but didn't want to get too excited if most offers are knocked back.

I work for the highest volume IVA provider in the UK, and our success rate on variations to the original proposal is very high.

The most important thing is that the offer you are now making provides the creditors with the best return they are likely to receive, based on your current circumstances.

Providing you satisfy this criteria, your variation is likely to be approved.

Great, thank you for the info. Hopefully it'll be positive news I guess we'll just have to wait and see if its accepted and give up with the crystal ball!

We were assured that if the offer isn't accepted we will be able to carry on as normal so I guess nothing is lost if its rejected.

I'll update once we hear one way or the other and keep our fingers crossed in the meantime.

Hello. I have been trying to put a Final offer to my IVA and so far they have not responded, its been over a month now, and I had to actually email them to ask them to acknowledge my email. Disgracefull. I also emailed them a week ago panicking due to my third party pulling out and them having absolutely nothing at all. Still heard nothing.

Nick, yes I have. I have been so angry, the girl I emailed time and time again did absolutey nothing, nobody at the office knew anything about this, so I called up in tears and some lovely girl sorted the whole lot out for me.

I put in the F&F offer of £4500 - I only have about £9700 left to pay.

I explained all my predicament all over again and within the hour, she had sorted the lot out for me, apologised, which she didnt have to because it was not her fault at all.

Anyway, she called me again today to say that my IP had agreed to submit the offer to all my creditors. Which I hear is a good thing and obvuiously they saw it as a good offer.

I Will get all the documentation early next week and the creditors meeting is sometime in October. Ill be nearly having my baby by then, so cannot make anymore payments. I just really really hope they say yes.

Its either the offer, or I cannot pay them anything. I know which one I would chose!

I have a good mind to email this halfwit and let her know I intend to complain about her conduct......

I did think that. Not about the poo, but the rocking thing, its all in hand now, no real harm done.

my f&f offer was accepted no problem doglover. my IP recommended they take it so now i am just waiting on final paperwork!!

Congrats! I am very happy to say that we have just got confirmation that our offer was accepted too!! Yipee. :j
