I was in my local (Northampton) Wilkinsons this morning and they had bars of Vanish Soap in there! It was the first time I've seen it in years so I bought 2 bars, not very money saving as I don't need it at the moment but I know that it WAS the best product for getting rid of LOADS of stains in the past... it's now safely stashed under my sink, next to my Stardrops! It will be interesting to see which of them are better at stain-removal the next time I have an emergency!!!Debts in March 2007:
Loan £24,180 Argos Card £2000 C Card £2000 O/draft £2000 Mortgage £113,000
Debts in Jan 2020:Loan £2900 Sister £0
Argos Card £0 :j C Card £0 O/draft £0 :j
Mortgage £96,000 (finally on a repayment mortgage)

The best thing I find for stains is washing up liquid. Rub a bit into the stain and most wash out. If I use a spray I tend to use Shout.
Trouble is yours is an old stain now and fixed.0 -
Can you do them in a hot wash. Check the labels. Somtimes putting them on 60% or 90% will do it. They may be ok if they are cotton.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Sorry been a way a while so time to catch upIt's not the cheapness of the mousse that's the problem...it's your Hubby and his inability to deal with laundry, surely? Any chocolate mousse would stain if left on clothes for several days. What an unfair thing to do...let the washing pile up for you to do when you got out of hospital. Why didn't you just chuck the whole lot back onto his lap and tell him to get the stains sorted?
Never had a problem getting other mousses out so not sure why this one was so difficult tbh - OH is banned from touching the washing machine after he dyed one all our DD white clothes into a horrible grey colourabsolutebounder wrote: »Best thing is look after daughter and dont let her old man feed her cheap crap.
Im too lady like to reply to that commentjackieglasgow wrote: »I've never seen the soap, but I have a Vanish Stick thing which rolls up like a Glue Stick, although it's much bigger and oval shaped. Mind you, it's probably about three years old now (almost finished though) and I can't think if I've seen them recently. It'e excellent. I'm off to Mr T soon, will have a wee look and update later if you like.
