Most of the Spanish airports I've been to have atms but can't say for def. at benidorm/alicante. Do those airports have a website?

But as for OP's question, why do you think you'd pay a fee, I've never known a fee charged at any airport I've ever used

I think OP means charge made to withdraw the money from the ATM by the bank not the airport

What we have found in Spain is that if you use any of the big Spanish banks' ATMs they will be charge free. What's more, when Nationwide convert Euros to £s you will get an excellent rate, far better than at the exchange places, or buying cash before you go. There are quite a few big banks to choose from, many having lobby service out of hours. Try Caja Murcia, Santander, BBVA etc.

I always find the Telebank ones are free to Nationwide users. It has a blue and yellow sign
