Here are the best business 1 Year fixed rates that I have found today:

United Bank UK: 2.65% (90 day notice)
Bank of London and The Middle East: 2.5%
Triodos Bank: 2.5% (Dutch Deposit Guarantee)
    Shawbrook: 2.40%
Cyprus Bank: 2.35% (allows some withdrawals)
    Cater Allen (Santander): 2.3%

You may never have heard of Triodos, but they are local to me, well respected around here, with a commitment to social action / responsible banking.

2% AER as long as £5k min in account and no withdrawals that month – otherwise no interest (0.10%) in the month withdraw (but still interest in months don't make any withdrawals). Instant access.

Couldn't find any better for me needed instant access and don't make too many withdrawals, so suits me find.

Would like to hear of anything better though

The two top business savings accounts currently listed don't work for my company. Vernon BS only accepts applications from the Stockport area, whilst ING Direct don't have the FSCS protection (and we don't want to rely on the Dutch government's scheme) .

Any other suggestions for business savings for UK limited companies?

We use ING and its perfect for us. Also with Barclays as it will soon be under UK laws. It should be protected. However for now, it doesn't really bother us to much as its the only thing on the market we can find which has a very good rate, easy to get going and has instant access without fees or loss of interest.

In our line of business we can have large sums of money coming through us for short periods of a few weeks where its not doing much so putting it into an instant savings account gets that money working for us a bit.

Are there any good deals for instant access without penalties?

(NB I see Santander is now 1.25%, from 18 March)

I was blissfully unaware that business savings accounts existed as when I opened our HSBC business account a few years ago they had very little to say on the matter plus at the time we were starting out and there was no money in the bank! Anyway I am looking for something where we can save approximately £10-£15k and access it at no more than a months notice. I think Aldermore's Easy Access account at 1.10% seems a good choice any better offers out there?

Al rayan are still offering 1.8% on 120 day notice. Works great for me no complaints. Link

State Bank of India UK are offering a Business Instant Access Savings Account with 1.50% AER/1.49% gross variable on GBP accounts with a balance of over £10,000.

They waive an annual fee when there is a minimum monthly average balance in your Business Instant Access Savings Account of £10,000 (GBP accounts).

    State Bank of India UK

State Bank of India UK are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), which can pay compensation to depositors if a bank is unable to meet its financial obligations. Most depositors - including most individuals and small businesses - are covered by the scheme.

An eligible depositor may claim up to £85,000 in deposits under the scheme. For joint accounts, each account holder is treated as having a claim in respect of their share. So, for a joint account held by two eligible depositors, the maximum amount that could be claimed would be £85,000 each (totalling £170,000). The £85,000 limit relates to the combined amount in all the eligible depositor's accounts with State Bank of India UK Offices, including their share of any joint account, and not to each separate account.
