Tesco Charity of the Year Cycle Ride

My partner is involved with a coast to coast cycle ride, being done for the Tesco Charity of the Year, which is Muscular Dystrophy.
They (all 4 of them!) are cycling from Hull to Southport, on the weekend of 11th September, they are doing it over 3 days, camping out the nights in between and so will be carrying their tents and sleeping bags etc with them. None of them are 'pro' cyclists.
