    We're going tomorrow too.

    We've got £25 of Tesco vouchers, which doubles up to £50 on back to school stuff so hopefully shoes and maybe shirts, socks can be got with that.

    did you know you may be able to get help with the cost of school uniforms from your local council or lea? the social services dept i think.

    Apparently they do, so only top, shorts and socks compulsary - trackie bottoms, waterproof jacket, fleece etc are optional :rolleyes:

    I agree Sammy, I think schools that make compulsory uniform are out of order. I wonder how many parents can truely afford to throw money away on it when a cheaper option would be just as good. Do they have any funds available for families who can't afford Spud?

    Schools are bloody inconsiderate to insist on logo stuff. We used to be able to buy the logo to put on our own black jumpers when I started there, stopped that though :rolleyes:
