Best place online to sell

Hi my mum has got a set of Variety Club Golden Hearts (1991-2000) complete in a special Gold Heart case, I've seen they don't seem to sell well on Ebay. She also has a commemorative £2 coin from British Legion for world war 2 by John Mills in its special booklet/display case, again they don't seem to sell on Ebay. Where else would you guys recommend selling them online?
Banana Lovers
Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

Realistically collectables and nick nacks do best on ebay so if the sales there are poor that might give you an indication of the actual current worth of the items. I would have thought the market was incredibly limited for this type of item and using one of the few other online sites will probably not give you the exposure you need.

Does it have to be online, would your mother consider getting a real auction house (one of the cheaper end of the market local ones) to take a look and see if they think it is worth trying to sell them? If you do go via a bricks and mortar auction you do need to expect to pay around 25% in total commission and VAT.
