Meeting OH after work to go to a comedy club this evening and printed off vouchers for a BOGOF at TGI Fridays beforehand...looking forward to it, haven't done something like that in ages.
Perhaps will look in OUTFIT on the way for something to wear to a wedding on Saturday night, using my £10 pigsback voucher..(doubt it but you never know)!
Have a good day everyone!0 -
just done a quickwise survey bringing me in a shiny quid ( at some point lol) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Oh and Ive had a really annoying phone call with 3, apparently im signed in for 18 months. asked them for a copy of my credit agreement, they seemed strangely reluctant to send it( that was the dial a phone bit) "why do you want it?" style interrogations. Apparently I cant cancel the contract till October , for end in November. She seemed pretty resistant. Does the same issue apply here? If they havent got my credit agreement, can i get out of my contract "early" ??
Also realised (DUH) that ive been paying 15 a month for texts that im not using so cancelled those... :J:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Well, whilst waiting for Barlcays to pull their thumb outta their !!!!!! and pay me (still waiting for them to enter a defence hey ho) I have filled out my egg DPA request and sent an initial letter to Northern Rock asking for my £50 back.
Oh and I joined the gym, and before anyone goes shock horror bad bad badive put it down as entertainment as the GF and I can go at 7 after tea and spend the evening in there with sauna, whirlpool baths etc. It stops us spending, esp at the weekend when the boredom "phase" arrives.

Went to Silverstone today to watch the F1 testing, and it was free (and fab too)...!! It's on again tomorrow as well if anyone is interested. All the teams are there apart from Ferrari, Toyota and one other team (can't remember who it is) The only place you don't get to go in is the Paddock (including the Pits). My brother paid for lunch and drove so added bonus. The down side, the cars were so load, and stupidly I didn't wear earplugs so I now have an ear ache.
When I got home my £10 gift voucher from Boots that I got via my Pigsback points has arrived.
Oh, and one other thing, I managed to sell my Take That concert ticket (which I was supposed to go on today) for what I paid for it, so I'm very happyLight bulb moment 18/03/06 Total Debt at light bulb moment approx £40k
Total Debt now £29,973.82 :j
Snowball date Dec 2010, but hope to clear by June 2010 if not sooner.....

Done my Pigsback clicks and things.
Although I bought my car tax, it actually cost me £5 less than the renewal notice stated, so that money has gone straight into my savings for paying off the loan on said car! Previously I would have thought of it as a "treat" and would have gone out and bought a coffee and a muffin that I don't need..............
I've also resurrected my skipping rope and am trying to do skipping every night when I get back from work. Maybe not very moneysaving at the moment, but it's cheaper than joining the gym!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Managed to walk past both Sainsbury's and Tesco on the way home and avoided the evil ready meal safe in the knowledge that beans on toast is much nicer and much quicker to prepare! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
