American Airlines Seat Sale ends 30.04.06

There is a limited time seat sale at American Airlines s at the moment.
The best deals need booking by Sunday 30.04.06 but availability on some flights may be getting a bit short.
I have saved several hundred pounds on this offer on a Florida multi-destination flight for November. In fact for my family (2 Adults, 1 x child) it was over £800 cheaper than a charter price offer which had less convienient flight times and us landing 150 miles away from where I wanted to be.
If you are looking at the prices, take a close look as to when they have cut off dates for flights - i.e.Man - Mia is £304 on 01.11.06, but is £411 on 31.10.06. One day can make a huge difference !
One thing that really surprised me is the lack of "logic" that applies to some fares, here's an example. Man - ORD (Chicago) on 01.11.06 is £313, however, if I then travel an additional 1200 miles to Miami, the price drops to £304 !!!
The website does make mention that there is a limited number of tickets available at these prices on each date so I suppose when they've gone, they've gone. Also weeken prices are slightly higher.
All prices include taxes & fees.
If you do decide to fly with AA, it's a good idea to sign up with AAadvantage (their frequent flyer membership thingy) as it means you can pick your own seat. Also their mileage awards are quite generous.
MTC
p.s. when I went to check on the seat prices, Man - Chicago going out on 01.11.06 and coming back on 08.11.06 actually came in at £246 which is £67 cheaper than they advertised. Even the weekend flights were coming in at £276 which is still cheaper than their original offer.
The aa.com "flexible flight dates" button wins again.
